Introduction

When it comes to studying English to teach it, meaning a BA in English teaching, for example, knowing and understanding the importance of English literature has, is crucial to be successful in this field, and it definitely has to be a core part of every single curriculum, for it helps students understand how this beautiful languange has evolved and changed throughout the passage of time. English literature can de divided into separte elements as follows: literary terms, timeline, poetry, narrative, etc.

The current activity focuses on English narrative. Therefore, this blog features different short stories written by the students who are currently taking the English Literature Course at Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia. The stories were written bearing in mind the following: 1) Know your character. 2) Make an outline. 3) Start by something out of the ordinary. 4) Finish a draft. 5) Edit your short story. 6) Chose a tittle. 7) Get Feedback. 8) Keep in main the core message. 9) What is the impact of your short history on the reader? 10) Write a satisfying ending.
